I moved away from San Francisco in 2014 to take a job in the South Bay. The job was (is!) fantastic, but moving back to my sprawling suburban hometown San Jose did a number on my health and happiness. I wrote a song while I was feeling homesick for the weird, wacky, walkable(!!!) city I've grown to love.

Inspired by artists like bo en and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, I wanted to make a song that was, like San Francisco, delightful, magical, and just a teensy bit strange. I enlisted the master of making weird sounds into bangers, Hello Ghxst, to help me craft this vision.
